By 2056, Sydney's population should stand at 8 million. To meet this growth, the NSW government is investing heavily in infrastructure and transport.
The Greater Sydney Commission has also developed a visionary 3 city plan, which should see most residents living within 30 minutes of their jobs, education and health services. As part of this approach, a new city the size of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA) is planned for Parramatta in Western Sydney.
Developing this plan requires significant investment. The NSW government will be offering major place-based investment opportunities, including:
- a new international airport and aerotropolis
- health and education infrastructure and buildings
- new aerospace and agribusiness precincts
NSW is now actively inviting investment into these projects.
