Accelerating NSW – second report
The final phase of the Council’s research into the impact of coworking spaces, accelerators, incubators, and startup hubs (CAISH entities), supported by Investment NSW, is a second Accelerating NSW report. This report will present analysis of data drawn from the Startup Muster survey, utilising the CAISH impact measurement framework set out in the first Accelerating NSW report.
NSW Innovation and Productivity Scorecard – online dashboard
Our Scorecards provide a snapshot of the state's innovation and productivity performance compared with other states and selected international economies. An online dashboard will be developed for the 2024 Scorecard to provide interactive access to the latest available data.
Economic impact of startups and scaleups
This project will develop a new evidence base about the NSW ecosystem of startups and scaleups to better understand their impact on the NSW economy. Commencing in 2024, the project will seek to understand the impact of these businesses and develop metrics to measure the economic contribution of startups and scaleups to the NSW economy.
Regional innovation ecosystems
The Council will undertake a new research project commencing in 2024, to understand the different drivers and features of regional innovation ecosystems. The project will look to understand the contemporary regional, rural, and remote experience and how to best support regional innovation ecosystems.
