News

The NSW International Education Advisory Board (IEAB) welcomes six new appointments to guide the strategic direction of Study NSW and to ensure the state’s international education sector remains resilient and globally competitive.

The appointments include former University of Wollongong Vice-Chancellor Patricia Davidson as the new IEAB Chair and new members Andrew Parfitt (Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Technology Sydney), David Linke (Managing Director, EduGrowth), Ian Aird (CEO, English Australia), Troy Williams (Chief Executive, Independent Tertiary Council Australia), and Craig Carracher (Co-Founder/Executive Chair, Scape Australia).

The new members are senior sector representatives who will bring their experience across EdTech, independent tertiary education, English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) and student accommodation to support the NSW Government's priorities for international education.

The IEAB meets three times a year and provides independent expert advice to inform Study NSW’s workplan and activities, supporting NSW’s $17.9 billion international education sector.
