A NSW Government website
The China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held from 5 – 10 November 2024 in Shanghai and Investment NSW is seeking expression of interests from qualified New South Wales businesses wanting to exhibit in the Food Pavilion. The CIIE is one of the world’s largest trade shows and has been held annually since 2018 and Investment NSW will take exclusive space inside Austrade’s Team Australia pavilion.
This is a valuable opportunity for NSW businesses to showcase their brands/products and develop new customer networks across categories including agriculture, food and beverage, and consumable/complementary health.
05 November – 10 November 2024
Booth rental & fit out will be covered by Investment NSW. Direct cost including but not limited to products, freight, marketing collaterals, travel expense, and staffing will be borne by applicants.
All participants attending the China International Import Expo (CIIE) should note that Australian citizens can now travel to China visa-free for business purposes for up to 15 days. This means that you can enjoy a hassle-free entry to China without the need to obtain a visa. If you plan to stay longer than 15 days in China, please consider the appropriate visa for your stay.
Please note that travel policies and visa requirements can change at any time. We advise all participants to stay updated with the latest information by consulting the relevant authorities or contacting their travel agent. We look forward to welcoming Australian participants to CIIE and hope that this new visa-free arrangement will further enhance the business and cultural exchange between NSW and China.
