World Expo in Dubai

Take your business to the global stage by participating in the World Expo in Dubai (October 2021 – March 2022).

Run every five years, World Expo attracts global attention. The first expo ever to be held in the Middle East, themed Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, is expected to attract more than 190 participant countries and 25 million visitors.

The World Expo is a unique and enterprising opportunity for NSW companies to unlock global potential. Investment NSW recognises what the World Expo offers and has partnered with Austrade and DFAT at the World Expo to showcase capabilities and deliver outcomes for NSW.

NSW Sector Programs and Flagship Events

Our business programs and trade missions at Expo are designed to unlock export opportunities and achieve success in the region and the world. The programs feature briefings, showcases, delegations and business matching opportunities anchored to major international exhibitions and conferences during the World Expo, for the following sectors:

  • food and beverage
  • heath and medtech
  • space
  • agribusiness and agtech
  • education

To showcase our investment and institutional capabilities to a global audience, NSW will host three flagship events for agribusiness and food, health and medtech, and international education from January to March 2022.

In recognition of current restrictions, full consideration is being made for in-person, hybrid, and virtual participation.

Australian Business Program

In addition to the NSW program, there is an opportunity to participate in the Australian Business Program managed by Austrade, which includes briefings, delegations, business matching and networking events at the Australian Pavilion, as well as participation in World Expo events and cultural activities. This program is for the following sectors: agribusiness and agtech, defence, education, food and beverage, heath and medtech, and technology.
