About Avalon 2023
The Avalon 2023 Aerospace & Defence Exposition and Australian International Airshow is one of the most comprehensive aviation, aerospace, and defence tradeshow in the southern hemisphere. It is a powerful forum for key decision-makers, Government representatives, defence officials, and military procurement managers to network with defence and aerospace manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
When: Tuesday 28 February to Sunday 5 March, 2023.
Where: Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria

The NSW Government stand at Avalon 2023 is the platform for NSW defence, aerospace, and space businesses to showcase goods, services, technologies, and solutions and connect with domestic and international representatives.
Benefits of exhibiting on the NSW Government’s stand include:
- access to one pod on the custom-built NSW Government stand in a prime location
- business name and/or logo included in stand graphics
- inclusion in NSW Government’s marketing and collateral, including media releases and editorial content
- a Trade Show Readiness workshop on how to maximise your presence at the show
- on-stand support during the exhibition from NSW Government staff
- visits from high profile Primes, international delegations, and Defence and Government officials organised by NSW Government staff
- support to access new markets and develop your business
Costs
The cost to exhibit is $6,000.00 (plus GST).
If you are successful, we will send you a letter of offer for you to sign and return to Investment NSW. This letter will include the conditions of the offer and payment details.
Eligibility
Any provider or manufacturer of defence or aerospace-related goods, services, technologies, and solutions who meets the set criteria can apply.
Applicants must:
- have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) registered in NSW
- employ at least 2 people (this can include owners)
- have quality marketing materials
- be able to attend the in-person Co-exhibitor Workshop, including the Trade Show Readiness session
When: Wednesday, 14 December 2022
Where: NSW Parliament House, Sydney, NSW
Time: 8:30am to 1:30pm, AEDT.

Your application will be assessed by a panel of NSW Government staff.
You can expect to hear the outcome of your application by Friday 18 November 2022.
