Join us in Sydney for the 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC)External Link, the International Astronautical Federation (IAF)’s premier global space event from 29 September to 3 October 2025.

The 76th IAC 2025 is hosted by Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA) and proudly co-hosted by Investment NSW alongside the Australian Space Agency.

This event presents a generational opportunity to showcase our space industry on the global stage and the importance of space-enabled services to the Australian way of life.

Australia’s first university-based rocketry team, the USYD Rocketry Team is a multi-award-winning student rocketry team from the University of Sydney that designs, builds and tests experimental sounding rockets.

An annual space industry event aimed at deepening understanding of the complexities of the space industry, with each iteration focusing on a different theme or “horizon”.
A sponsored space education program for 32 NSW schools designed to engage students in STEM learning and promote awareness of opportunities in the space industry.

Visa and Skilled Migration support

Our Business & Skilled Migration Program is highly supportive of NSW’s growing tech industries and precincts. The program attracts new and emerging digital technology capabilities and skills, provides visa and migration advice to businesses, and nominates high potential migration candidates to live and work in NSW.

These initiatives have spurred the growth of digital technology businesses across the state and are available to all organisations considering investment opportunities in NSW.

Landing Pads

Investment NSW is providing the International Landing Pad to support overseas technology businesses expanding into Australia with free office accommodation. It is a dedicated co-working space designed to provide a soft landing for businesses from overseas to enable them entry into the Australian markets seamlessly. The Sydney Startup Hub occupies 17,000 square metres of space across 11 floors under one roof and is currently home to nearly 400 startups.
