About the event

China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a trade fair held 5-10 November annually since 2018 in Shanghai. It is the world’s first import-themed national-level expo.

In support of Austrade’s CIIE initiative, Investment NSW China team is seeking expressions of interest from qualified New South Wales businesses wanting to exhibit in

  • the Food & Beverage Pavilion of CIIE, to showcase their brands/products and develop new customer networks.
  • or, the Health & Supplements Pavilion of CIIE, to showcase their brands/products and develop new customer networks.

Why you should participate

  • Opportunities to identify and engage with new customers in the market
  • Increase your brand awareness in China through NSW Government and Federal Government
  • Promote your brand at one of the largest trade shows in China
  • In-market support from Investment NSW China Team and Austrade China Team

Eligibility

  • Export already to Mainland China and/or,
    Able to organise samples to China that can be displayed at the trade show
  • Have a valid ABN registered for NSW
  • Provide marketing support to INSW China Team to promote this event
  • Have your own staff on site for the trade show

The Ideal Participant and Program Costs

  • For the Food and Beverage Pavilion, food and beverage related companies should apply.
    • Program Costs: Austrade will be charging for direct costs for the building of the pavilion and the associated cost of exhibiting in the Australian Pavilion. Investment NSW China Office will subsidise 10% of the direct costs charged by Austrade in support of NSW exporters.

  • For the Health & Supplements Pavilion, health & wellness brands, supplements, personal care, functional food & beverage related companies should apply.
    • Program Costs: Booth rental & fit out will be covered by Investment NSW. Direct costs including but not limited to products, freight, marketing collaterals, travel expense, staffing will be borne by applicants.

Applications closed 4 August 2023. An acceptance supporting letter will be sent to successful applicants with participation terms and conditions. Further information required for participation will be provided in due course. Spaces are limited. Successful applicants will be determined by eligibility and on a first come, first served basis.
